Managed Photos(MP) provides goods and services to empower churches to run professional studio style photo shoots. The cost saving to the parishioner as well as the advantages to the church in managing updates are an overwhelming benefit to any church both on a short and long term basis.
Managed Photos(MP) provides services for two activities:
- Photo Repository Service This service manages digital content by providing an on-line storage mechanism. It allows a church to collect and store photos in a logical fashion and be stored on a secured sever. The content can then be used for multiple media applications. The service runs $18 a month. An On-line class is available to explain the set up and the usage. The class is currently offered at no charge. To sign up for the class, click on the Sign up tab.
- Photo Shoot Data Base Service This service provides a means to manage a studio photo shoot and process orders taken on-line. It also provides an easy means to build the photo album as a second step so a church can independently manage and update a pictorial directory. The service runs $25 a month and includes the Photo Repository Service as well. Additional information on the service is detailed below.
- The photo shoot order processing – The first part of the program provides an on-line service by pulling photos taken from the camera and placing them in an ordering menu. The ordering system is very intuitive allowing a parishioner to select photos independent of a sales person. As part of the process a single photo is selected to be used in the pictorial directory. The program manages the transaction and uploads the order and photos selected for processing.
- The directory building service – The second part of the on-line program takes the captured photos that have been stored in the photo repository server set up for the church and uses these to build a pictorial directory. A majority of the directory building activity is fully automatic. The special categories, such as staff, elders, study groups and activities are placed into user friendly templates to complete the effort. The program then creates a pictorial directory. The directory output can be linked to a web page or printed.
- Classes for the Photo Shoot Data Base Service - Completion of on-line classes are require before the Photo Shoot Data Base Service is activated for an organization’s use. There are three classes provided as specified below. Each class runs $40 a piece. If all three classes are ordered at once the combined fee is $100.
- Overview class – This class includes an overview of the entire process from planning to execution and the class discusses running the MP order processing program.
- Technical class – This class covers the setup and shoot. The class discusses, camera setup, lighting setup, network setup, staffing.. This class focuses on the photographer / success of the photo shoot.
- Desk top publishing – This course covers access to the stored files, creation and update of the online pictorial directory and printing of the pictorial directory. This class is intended for the church staff who will be responsible to create and maintain the on-line directory.
- On site services – The MP system has been designed to allow an organization to achieve autonomy in running a photo shoot. However, you may prefer to have a certified MP assistant on site during photo shoots. A coach service can be provided to meet such a need. The site services will be charged on a time and expense basis. The availability of this service will be dependent upon location.
- Web Design - Managed Photos provides web design services. The web design and hosting service is normally used in conjunction with the above mentioned programs. We offer a break when the web design and web hosting service is combined with the Photo Shoot data base Service.
- The combined services offer a church the best possible media service.
